Dear Supporters of the Justice Journey Alliance,

The Board of Directors along with the President & CEO of the Justice Journey Alliance are rescheduling the iMAGINE JUSTICE Fundraising Reception event for the Spring of 2020, but we still need your support this year to help us realize our vision to reach an ever-increasing population divided by race and injustice. The recent national headline news of an ethnically diverse group of people (adults and children) experiencing racial discrimination in a public and very popular food establishment is another example of just how important the mission of JJA is today.

Our apologies to those who planned to attend our fundraising event next week. We wish we could see you all in person. But I do hope you will join me on The Justice Journey Alliance Facebook Page for a live video on Monday, November 18th at 7:30 p.m. when I will share about our Vision 20/20.

Friends, we have been developing new initiatives to reach across the racial divide, and they are working! One of those initiatives is called JustUS Conversations, where we invite the public to meet in a safe, welcoming environment to talk about inclusion, equality, and race relations. We all come away from these gatherings with new hope for unity and understanding. You are always welcome to join us for one of these events. The next JustUS Conversations will be held at the Community Christian Church of Naperville on November 16th from 10 a.m. to noon and again on December 7th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria at 439 North Wells Street in Chicago. We would love to have you join the conversation.

Now, as the year-end giving season begins, we hope you will consider a generous donation to the Justice Journey Alliance. We are running on a very lean budget and mostly volunteer power, and we need stronger funding to keep our operations going and growing. We hope you will catch the vision!

Thank you for your concern for Racial and Social Justice.
