WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE JOURNEY
But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!
AMOS 5:24 (NIV)
An Opportunity To Grow
We invite you to step into a journey where you experience truth and life through a different perspective. The Justice Journey Experience™ is an opportunity to engage in dialogue with others and build relationships that will challenge and stretch your views on race relations and social justices in our country. On this journey, God will begin to unveil His plans to us for how the church can play a part in healing past wounds and bring hope for the future through our unique contributions.
More Than an Experience
The Justice Journey Experience™ is more than an experience; it’s the beginning of a lifetime of transformation where people from all different ethnicities and ages begin to experience a fresh perspective by changing their own hearts. On June 17-22, 2019, we invite you to embark on a week-long experience by bus to revisit the profound historical influence of the Civil Rights Movement in the cities of Selma, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Memphis.
What To Expect
- Visit locations where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. made history
- Dialogue with Civil Rights participants about their personal experiences, triumphs, and tragedies
- Reflect on current expressions and contributing factors toward racism, oppression, and the manifestations of unjust institutionalism
- Explore how you can begin to engage in social justice activities in your local community
